Clive Hamilton takes a stand

After the fiasco in Australian Parliament this week, and the earlier push from the Prime Minister and Minister for Environment and Energy to use money set aside for clean energy to build more dirty coal plants, Clive Hamilton has had enough. He's resigned from the Climate Change Authority.

  • Excellent post there. And good on Hamilton for taking a stand. Unfortunately, the real problem is that we need the electorate to make a stand, and they don't really seem interested in doing that. A majority of Australians actually voted for this debacle.
